WWC 2011 Session #2 – This will be the most intense clinic/club located on the Northshore this Fall! We will prepare you for the upcoming season – The club will allow you to gain top technique from some of the best clinicians in the country.

The WWC 5 week clinic includes:

  • Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays:  September 19, 21, 26, 28 & October 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19
  • Please Note: There are no restrictions this session as to how many wrestlers from the same High School may attend the same workout. Regular competitions will be scheduled.
  • Time: 7:00 PM to 8:30 , Mondays & Wednesdays
  • Location: The Ken Kraft Wrestling Complex in Anderson Hall, Northwestern University : 2701 Ashland Avenue, Evanston, Illinois – We will have signs showing you directions to the back stairwell.
  • Parking: North End of East Lot, just east of Northwestern’s Football Stadium on Central Street

Clinicians:

  • Matt Storniolo: 2X NCAA All-American for Oklahoma , Northwestern Assistant Coach – Head Coach of the WWC.
  • Brandon Precin: 3X NCAA All-American at NU, 2X Midlands Champ, 2X Big Ten Finalist, Northwestern Volunteer Assistant Coach, Club Development Director of the WWC.
  • Tim Cysewski: current Northwestern University Associate Head Wrestling Coach, Iowa All-American, 5-time Midlands Champion, Freestyle National Champion
  • Drew Pariano: current Northwestern University Head Wrestling Coach, former head wrestling coach at Cornell College , 3-time NCAA qualifier for Northwestern University, NCAA Division I Rookie Head Coach of the Year (2011) and NCAA Division I Assistant Coach of the Year (2008).
  • Guest clinicians , including NCAA Champions and World Team members from various Big Ten and Big Twelve institutions.

Highlights include:

  • Group and individual instruction
  • Folkstyle instruction geared for Super 32 and preseason tournaments
  • Technical instruction on takedowns, escapes and pinning combinations
  • Drill matches
  • At least 30 Minutes of Live wrestling each evening
  • Each member will receive an official WWC t-shirt

Cost of the 5-Week Clinic: $330; pre-registration is $295 if received by September 10th.

Who should attend: The Wildcat Wrestling Club’s Spring club/camp is open to any high-school and middle-school wrestlers, who want to prepare for the upcoming fall season, with both technical training/drilling, conditioning and live wrestling.

    • Current USA Wrestling Membership Card (their new fiscal year begins September 1st) – The IKWF has a link on their home to the current forms you will need.
    • Competitor Card Application – Click here for application form OR Coaches Card Application – application form coming soon (A separate $40 check for the USAW card should be made out to: IL-USA Wrestling). If you already have a current card, you do not need to purchase another one.
    • Northwestern University Waiver Form – Click here to download waiver form
    • A completed Wildcat Wrestling Club Enrollment Information Form.
  • A check made out to: Wildcat Wrestling Club if you do not chose the online service.
